How To Heat Our 1 lb. Trays Beef Brisket


To Heat In The Microwave

  • Thaw in the refrigerator before microwaving.
  • Can be heated from frozen but requires extra heating time.
  • Do not remove or puncture the film attached to the top of the tray.
  • Place the tray in the microwave.
  • Heat Sliced or Burnt Ends on high for approximately 3 ½ to 4 ½ minutes.
  • Heat Dry Rubbed on high for approximately 2 ½ to 3 ½ minutes.
  • The film will expand and form a bubble during heating, and then self vent and slowly relax over the brisket.
    Remove from microwave and let rest for 2 minutes. 

Caution contents are very hot. Peel off the film, serve and enjoy.  Heating time is approximate due to the variability of microwave ovens.

 

To Heat On Stovetop

  • Thaw tray overnight in the refrigerator.
  • Open tray & place product into a small saucepan.
  • Place on stovetop & heat slowly, stirring over medium heat.
  • Note, if dry-rubbed version, place a small amount of water in the pan with it.
  • Ready when thoroughly heated – approximately 10 minutes.

To Heat In The Slow Cooker

  • Thaw 1-2 days in the refrigerator.
  • Remove from plastic bag and place in an appropriate size slow cooker.
  • Cover with Lid.
  • Heat on high for approximately 1-1 ½ hours, stirring often.
  • Carefully remove from the slow cooker before serving.

 

To Heat On Stove Top

 

  • Thaw 1-2 days in the refrigerator.
  • Open bag and place package contents in a large pan with a small amount of water in the bottom.
  • Place on the stovetop over medium heat – stirring slowly until heated through.

Basic Meat Serving Suggestion Tips

  • Standalone meats such as chicken breast or steak allow 6 to 8 ounces per person.
  • Stuffed Meats allow 4 to 6 ounces per person.
  • Meats served in a BBQ Sauce or gravy allow 4 to 5 ounces per person.
  • When serving hamburgers allow 8 ounces per person.
  • Serving sizes vary depending on when a meal is served. Meat portions are generally 25% smaller at lunch time than dinner time.
