How To Heat 1 Lb. Trays BBQ Pork

To Heat In The Microwave

  • Thaw in the refrigerator before microwaving.
  • Can be heated from frozen but requires extra heating time.
  • Do not remove or puncture the film attached to the top of the tray.
  • Place the tray in the microwave.
  • Heat on high the Signature Sauced Pulled Pork and Burnt Ends for approximately 3 ½ to 4 ½ minutes.
  • Dry Rubbed (unsauced) for approximately 2 ½ to 3 ½ minutes.
  • The film will expand and form a bubble during heating, and then self vent and slowly relax over the brisket.
  • Remove from the microwave and let rest for 2 minutes.


Caution contents are very hot. Peel off the film, serve and enjoy.
Heating time is approximate due to the variability of microwave ovens. Heat to a minimum internal temperature of 140° F.


To Heat on Stovetop:

  • Thaw tray overnight in the refrigerator.
  • Open tray and place product into a small saucepan.
  • Place on stovetop & heat slowly, stirring over medium heat.
  • Note, if dry-rubbed version, place a small amount of water in the pan with it.
  • Ready when thoroughly heated – approximately 10 minutes.

How To Heat 5 Lb. Party Packs BBQ Pork

To Heat in the Slow Cooker

  • Thaw 1-2 days in the refrigerator.
  • Remove from plastic bag & place in an appropriate size slow cooker.
  • Cover with Lid.
  • Heat on high for approximately 1-1 ½ hours, stirring often.
  • Carefully remove from the slow cooker before serving.

To Heat on Stove Top

  • Thaw 1-2 days in the refrigerator.
  • Open bag & place package contents in a large pan with a small amount of water in the bottom.
  • Place on the stovetop over medium heat – stirring slowly until heated through.

Basic Meat Serving Suggestion Tips

  • Standalone meats such as chicken breast or steak allow 6 to 8 ounces per person.
  • Stuffed Meats allow 4 to 6 ounces per person.
  • Meats served in a BBQ Sauce or gravy allow 4 to 5 ounces per person.
  • When serving hamburgers allow 8 ounces per person.
  • Serving sizes vary depending on when a meal is served. Meat portions are generally 25% smaller at lunch time than dinner time.
