The slow curing allows the mixture to absorb into the slab. Next, the country bacon goes to a smokehouse where it is naturally smoked over real applewood chips.The result is a smooth flavor, with a delicate balance of spice, applewood smoke, and sweetness.
Next it's checked for quality and expertly packaged to guarantee a safe arrival to it's destination. It takes us many days to make this bacon perfection! This bacon is our traditional slice (approx. 6-8 slices per inch or 1/8") thickness. Stores well in the freezer - time to stock up!
