Ingredients and Method

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup light or dark syrup
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 unbaked pie shell (9 inch)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, beat eggs slightly at medium speed. Beat in vanilla, syrup, sugar, salt and butter. Stir in pecans.
  3. Bake in oven for 55 to 65 minutes. Remove and cool.
