How To Heat Your Smoked Pheasant


Baking Bag Method

  • Thaw Smoked Pheasant in the bag until completely thawed.
  • Preheat conventional oven to 350°F.
  • Remove pheasant from the vacuum bag and put it in a baking bag.
  • Place in baking dish. Make 2 or 3 slits on top of the bag.
  • Place in preheated oven.
  • Heat pheasant for 45 to 55 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and remove from bag.
  • Let rest 15 minutes before serving. Serve pheasants hot.

Conventional Oven Heating

  • Thaw Pheasant completely in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Remove from plastic seal and wrap tightly in foil.
  • Place in a baking dish.
  • Heat for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Let rest 15 minutes before serving. Serve hot.

 

Microwave Oven

  • Thaw Pheasant completely in the refrigerator.
  • Remove from the vacuum bag, place on a microwave dish.
  • Cover with a paper towel and heat for 8 minutes. Turn pheasant if the microwave does not have a revolving turntable, heat an additional two more minutes or until heated through. (Do not overheat).

Serving Your Pheasant Cold Or At Room Temperature


  • Remove Pheasant from Freezer.
  • Place in refrigerator to thaw completely.
  • About an hour before serving remove from refrigerator and let it come to room temperature.
  • Pheasant is great for snacking or for a quick meal. Serve Pheasant with a salad and bread.
  • Return to refrigerator within 2 hours.
