How To Prepare Pork End Cuts
Pan Braised Pork
- Thaw completely in refrigerator.
- Heat skillet and add 1 tablespoon oil.
- Add Pork End Cuts and brown on each side.
- Add 1 cup hot water and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Serve hot
Pork End Cuts And Gravy
- Follow directions for Pan Braised Pork.
- Remove meat from skillet: place in bowl. Turn skillet to a low heat.
- In a small bowl or cup; dissolve 1 tablespoon cornstarch in 2 tablespoons water.
- Add cornstarch mixture to drippings in the skillet. Increase heat and cook until thick. Add more water if needed.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Add Pork Ends Cuts to gravy.
Microwave
- Thaw completely in refrigerator.
- Place on microwave tray and cover with paper towel.
- Heat for 1½ minutes on each side.
- Serve hot.
- Microwaves vary in temperature. It is better to underheat than overheat. If microwaved too long, End Cuts will become tough and dry.
