1-1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
3 tablespoons sugar
1/3 cup butter or margarine
2 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)
1 cup sugar
4 tablespoons corn starch
1/4 teaspoon red food coloring
Combine crumbs and sugar in medium size bowl. Stir in melted butter or margarine until thoroughly blended. Pack mixture firmly into a 9 inch pie pan and press firmly on bottom and sides, bringing crust evenly up to the rim. Chill one hour before filling, or bake in 350 degree oven for 8 minutes, cool, chill and fill.
In a sauce pan mix the four ingredients and cook over medium heat until it thickens. Depending on the size of strawberries either slice the strawberries in half or quarters. Place cut side down on graham pie crust; covering the entire bottom of crust. Pour cooked mixture over the strawberries. Cover with whipped whipping cream or Cool Whip. Garnish with halves of sliced berries.
