Ranger Cookies


1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter or shortening
2 eggs (beaten)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
2 cups quick cook oatmeal
2 cups Rice Krispies
1 cup coconut
1 cup nuts or raisins


Combine white sugar, brown sugar and butter or shortening in a large bowl. Continue creaming until light and fluffy. Stir in eggs and vanilla. In another bowl sift flour, baking soda and salt, and add to creamed mixture. Add in the oatmeal, Rice Krispies, coconut and nuts or raisins. Mix well. With a tablespoon or other measure drop mixture on a ungreased cookie sheet. Place in a preheated 350 - 375 degree oven and bake for 6 to 10 minutes.
