3 Cups Jonathan Apples peeled, cored and sliced very thin
3 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons butter
1-1/2 cups sugar
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice
Prepare pie crust according to Cream Pie Dough recipe. In a large mixing bowl mix apples, flour, butter and sugar. Mix together well. Put filling in to pie shell. Roll out cover dough and place over pie filling and outer crust. Crimp edges together with your fingers. Sprinkle top of dough with sugar and cinnamon. Prick dough several times with fork. Place in a preheated 425 degree oven for 15 minutes, lower oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake approximately 45 minutes.
