French Refrigerator Cake


2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs (about 1/2 pound)
1/2 cup butter
1 cup powder sugar
2 eggs (beaten)
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup of nuts (chopped)
1 cup crush pineapple (drained)


Place 1 cup of vanilla wafer crumbs in an ungreased eight inch square baking dish. Thoroughly cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and blend well. Spread carefully over the crumbs. Combine whipping cream, nuts and pineapple, and spread over above mixture. Sprinkle remaining Vanilla Wafer Crumbs over the top. Let stand 18 to 24 hours. Cut into squares.
