1 large package Oreo cookies (crushed)
1/2 cup margarine
1 container whipped topping
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
Reserve one cup of Oreo cookie crumbs. In a sauce pan melt the margarine and combine with the crushed Oreo cookies. Spread evenly in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Soften the ice cream and spread over the crumbs. Spread the whipped topping over the ice cream. Top with the chocolate syrup and reserved cookie crumbs. Cover with foil and freeze until ready to serve.
