Chicken Livers and Mushroom

Chicken Livers with Mushrooms


1 lb. fresh chicken livers (wash and drained)
1 lb. sliced mushrooms
Flour (enough to dip livers in)
Oil (enough to fry livers)
1/2 stick butter


Add oil to large skillet and heat. Cover livers with flour, season with salt and pepper and place in skillet. Fry on medium heat until livers are browned. In another skillet, place ½ stick of butter over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and fry until tender. Then stir in mushrooms into skillet of livers. Cook approximately 10 minutes and serve.
