Packaged four quail to one bag and each weighs 4 to 5 oz. Each.
How To Prepare Smoked Quail
Roasting
- Preheat oven to 350°F, and place quail in an oven-safe dish.
- Rub quail with butter or olive oil. Cover with foil.
- Bake 15-20 minutes.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Baking
- Preheat oven to 350°F, and place quail in an oven-safe dish.
- Add ¼ cup water and cover with foil.
- Bake 15-20 minutes.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Grilling
- Preheat grill.
- Grill over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side or until breast meat is firm to touch.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
How To Bake Bacon Wrapped And Stuffed Quail
Baking
- Preheat oven to 325°F, and place quail in oven-safe dish.
- Add ¼ cup of water and cover with foil.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, until hot in the middle.
- If desired, remove foil last 5-10 minutes, allowing bacon to crisp.
