How To Prepare Your Applewood Carver Ham

  • Allow 1-2 days for the ham to thaw in the refrigerator (if frozen).
  • Remove thawed ham from the refrigerator 20 minutes before heating.
  • Remove packaging from ham and discard plastic film.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Proceed to heat instructions.

Helpful Hint: The flavor is outstanding straight from the refrigerator or warmed for 40 minutes - great for special occasions.

How To Heat Your Applewood Carver Ham In The Oven

Helpful Hint: DO NOT OVERHEAT. Use a meat thermometer and heat to 140°F.


  • Wrap thawed ham in foil completely, and place on baking sheet.
  • Put ham in oven for 40-60 minutes (approximately 10 min/lb.)
  • Take ham from the oven and tent the foil, and let rest 15 minutes.
  • Glaze, if desired (glaze packet included – directions on pack)

How To Cut, Slice, And Serve Your Applewood Carver Ham

  • Place ham on cutting board with the flat side down.
  • Slice ham slices, moving from one end to the other, to desired thickness.
  • Transfer ham slices to serving platter or directly to plates. Enjoy!

Estimate 1/2 lb. per person for Boneless Ham


For a 10 person dinner, you will need a Bone-In Ham 7.5 to 10 lbs. or a 5 lb. Boneless Ham.
