Relay for Life 2002 & 2003

Burgers' Country Curers, a team of employees, was presented a plaque at the closing ceremonies of the 3rd Annual Moniteau County Relay for Life for the most money raised by a team. Over $7,500 was raised through fundraisers. Last year was the first time Burgers' Smokehouse was represented in this charitable event raising over $7,200 in 2002.

Employees have found helping raise money towards the fight against cancer through Relay For Life a very worthwhile, moving experience. The Gold Team Award posted on the lawn at the Smokehouse was presented to the team for having raised more than $3,000 prior to the opening ceremony. Team spirit, hard work, and lots of fun, encouraged team members to look for new ways to raise more dollars.
