Applewood Bacon is rubbed with a dry recipe
of salt, cane sugar and spice. Slow curing allows the mixture to
absorb into the slab. Next, the bacon goes to a smokehouse where
natural applewood smoke produces a golden brown finish. The result
is a mellow flavor, with a nice balance of spice, smoke, and sweetness
that's slightly milder than our Original or Pepper Coated Country Bacon.
This thick sliced Bacon STEAK cut is sliced a quarter inch thick.
