Relay for Life

The employees of Burgers' Smokehouse have joined together for many years to help fight cancer by having a team participate in the Moniteau County Relay For Life. Their team name is Burgers' Country Curers and they hold fund-raisers each year to raise funds for this well attended community event.

Their fund-raisers have included selling biscuits and gravy to employees at morning breaks, selling mums in the fall, serving roast pork dinners, having rummage sales, and the most popular has been the "Queen" and "Pie in the Face" contest.

Over the past years, Burgers' Country Curers are proud to say they have raised over $84,000.00 to help fight cancer through research and by helping those locally who are struggling with the disease. Burgers' Smokehouse employees consider this project to be rewarding and enjoy having fun together while doing good for others.

Team members always appreciate the support from Management during their efforts to raise funds for Relay For Life. With their support, the teams have been able to reach their goals.
